How it works

    Choose your distractions

    Pick the apps you want to be more intentional about — social media, games, whatever pulls your focus.

  2. 02

    Get asked why

    Every time you open one of those apps, Reason opens and asks for a reason. Close the app, or type your reason and continue.

  3. 03

    Build the habit

    That moment of friction is the whole point. Over time, mindless opens become intentional ones — and often, you'll just close apps instead.

Breaking bad habits is uncomfortable. You should expect Reason to frustrate you initially. If reducing screen time was easy, you wouldn't need an app for it.
